This is a cult classic

Natasha Richardson is stunning in this film, which has an extremely interesting plot line, great stars and acting and is beautifully filmed. The setting and costumes for the time period are interesting, too. The surprise ending leaves one wondering about all kinds of things, obsession notwithstanding. A love story, yes, but so much more. Highly recommend.
