These have worked great for me, with no issues. I've done multiple hikes with them, nothing super rocky or mountainous, per se, but more like off the way paths, with varying terrain. But from being wet, to having coral sand in them, while having to hike around, always without socks, from a few to ten miles, they never gave me any hotspots, and have worked great. I wear a 10.5 in vans (old skool skate/pros, just specifics, because I feel they are a more sport tailored fit), but I have an 11 foot, and the 10s of these fit me perfectly.

Bought these on a whim and based on an Instagram ad, which is always a risky proposition, after my 12 year old Keen sandals died. Tried two other brands of water shoe this summer, and tho I won't name names, these have them solidly beaten. I've used these for: Kayaking, sailing, fishing, and birding, including several long treks across big sand flats. I like minimalist shoes and these are super comfortable while still protecting my feet from rocks, shells, etc. The basically haven't dried out since the day after I got them. So far, they don't stink, although they also haven't been in the house yet. We'll see how that goes in October. Can't say anything about durability yet, obviously.
