Aroma 1.5-Liter Electric Kettle, White/Grey

I had been making ice tea by steeping bags in a pan, then pouring it thru a funnel into a gallon jug. With this electric kettle, I can pour it directly in the jug. After I filled with cold water, it took approximately 2 minutes for the water to boil. THAT fast. I then unplugged it and put my tea bags in. What a mess saver. The tea actually goes in the jug instead of all over the counter. Also did some soup in it By the time you throw away your soup can, get your bowl and spoon, it will be ready. I plan on making the grandkids chocolate milk in it this winter. So many uses. I would definitely recommend this electric kettle to anyone.

Received this cute kettle, it is good for 6 cups, and only 9 inches high, which I love. I immediately rinsed it as per instructions made sure the triangular filter was in place poured cold water through the opened lid closed the lid, pressed the power switch, waited about 1 1/2 min for a boil and my water was ready. Full boiling achieved in no time. Made my Earl Grey tea that I love and it tasted wonderful. I'm very happy I got this kettle because now I can quickly boil water for my noodle soups, or an herbal tea cup or hot chocolate, or anything you need hot water for. No need to wait for the gas pot to boil which takes at least 10 minutes. This Aroma kettle saves you lots of time, when you are in a hurry this kettle is for you. Once the water is ready the indicator light goes off. You just pick up the kettle off the stand which has the power cord. This way the cord never follows you as it stays on the stand. The kettle with the hot water is cord free. It does however get quite hot, so make sure you only hold it by the nice handle which does not get hot. Once you finish using what ever amount of water you need always spill the remaining water out. Do not leave water in the kettle when not using it as it may cause damage. In other words when you want a cup of water for anything always pour in fresh water and after you need no more, throw the rest of the water out.
