Good Quality But Size chart off

Good Quality but", The only reason gave 3 stars was that the products size chart is way off and not accurate. These snow pants are for children. I viewed the size chart which states a small for S (small) for 28-30 waist but it came with an S (8) on the tag which would fit a regular (Not large) size 8 yr old American kid I believe, so I'm guessing fitting would be S is (8) Y/O M (9/10) L-(11/12) XL (13/14) etc,,,, We shall see as returning and my daughter is 12 so exchanging for a XL as she just turned 13 yrs old. The pants are tough looking with hin thermal liner plus kinda strong looking exterior fabric and stitching with reinforced knees and seat but ZIPPERED Pockets on S size can "only fit "half" my adult large hand inside (apprx 6 inch deep), so wish the pockets were a bit larger but they'll be ok as she uses a backpack skiing. Nice double clasp in front with velcro plus velcro type adjusters to snug them tighter on waist with belt loops. Feel worth the price $54 free shipping as they're needed for 21/22 ski season.
