I am using this as color drops to put in my hair conditioner to tone the brass. This is very nice, because it is a red violet, rather than a blue violet. If your hair is blonde, the blueish purple products can make a greenish cast. The red violet does not. I'm really happy with it!

It didn't, however, work with the light pink that I bought this must recent time; the pink did not saturate my naturally white hair for some reason, and needless to say, I was quite disappointed.

So when I bleached my hair down to a straw blonde, I dyed it with this and maybe like 4:1 Space Cowgirl to Phantom Green and it turned out really nice. A lighter base is better for Space Cowgirl where as it's darker cousin helped it leaped over those yellow orange tones still left from the bleaching process.
