our woodworking club president recently aquired several Irwin circular saw blades for our club to try out. This blade is way above average. I used it to cut pieces for a segmented turning I was working on. The blade is the 40 tooth model and cut the segments flawlessly. I would not hesitate to buy one of these blades or recommend it to all of my woodworking buddies.

Great Rip Blade

First 24T Irwin Marples rip blade I have tried. It was installed on a vintage General Model 250 saw I had overhauled. The blade and saw were put through the paces re-sawing 1" x 6" birch planks. The blade performed beautifully and is a remarkably quiet running blade. Large carbide inserts should allow for several resharpening.

Great Product

I received a Marples 10x24T Rip Blade to evaluate. I can only compare the new Marples blade with the blades I use in my shop. I felt the Rip Blade did an excellent job ripping on various woods. The cut was very smooth. I also did some cross cuts and I have to say I was pleased with the smooth cuts. One other thing I noticed was the blade is very quiet. I was very impressed with the performance of the blade. I felt you have a very high quality product.
