Restored Apple MacBook Air 13.3-inch Laptop-Space Gray, M1 Chip, Built for Apple Intelligence, 8GB RAM, 256GB storage

Total disappointment, what started out as a Christmas gift turned into a nightmare when my son opened his brand new sealed computer to find it would only power on to display the message critical battery issue contact tech for repair.... Certainly not something $600 brand new in the package right? My kids bummed, stores closed due to the holiday, next day i bring back to walmart to EXCHANGE, for a REPLACEMENT of my item for them to say sure, struggle to find the serial numbers on the box then proceed to hand me a receipt for a refund on my credit card!! ( everyone knows how that goes). Stunned i asked about the EXCHANGE i requested only for the cashier to snap "oh we don't do that" Now the waiting game, Days later i repurchased the item at BEST BUY at a significantly higher price and ask them to price match with Walmart( they do that if you didn't know). For them to tell me that they cant price match do to the CHIP inside, ya see the walmart one has an aged processor chip (THE M1) As the newest model which i bought was the M4 chip, current, fastest, and basically in the managers word, was a much better value than the slow and outdated chip in Walmart. If you want a hassle be my guest, If you want to spend your hard earned money on the newest tech and not old tech disguised as it, Shop elsewhere.

This is the second MacBook that I have put from Walmart.com and instantly upon set up a battery warning comes on indicating that it needs to be serviced by Apple. Both times I contacted Apple and they told me to immediately exchange or return. Walmart sold a bad batch of MacBooks.
