2007 release from the British actor and performer who has conquered TV, Broadway and the West End but is best known as the character Captain Jack in Dr Who and the spin-off series Torchwood. The album features songs that John has long admired and holds dear. Across a number of musical genres, but predominantly sumptuous, streamlined Pop, he lends his rich vocals to, amongst others, Cyndi Lauper's quot;Time After Timequot;, Elton John's quot;Your Songquot;, and Chicago's quot;If You Leave Me Nowquot;. His rendition of Billy Joel's quot;She's Always a Woman to Mequot; is velvet and sensuous, and 'All Out of Love' with it's soaring strings is simply epic. BMG.
