The RP 241 is the latest tool in the RIDGID Compact Press Tool family. This low-profile design is lightweight and balanced. Features include an ergonomic design for one-handed operation to help you easily work in tight spaces. The RP 241 offers Bluetooth connectivity (connecting the tool to the RIDGID Link app), which allows users to track numbers of cycles, battery information, and much more. The RP 241 is compatible with all RIDGID Compact Series jaws, rings, and actuators and can press up to 1 1/4 in. (32 mm) on Copper and Stainless Steel; up to 1 1/2 in. (40 mm) on PEX tubing; and up to 1 in. (25 mm) Carbon Steel.

Service plumber. I do a lot of repair type work, some new installs. Trying to solder when the main shut off to the house doesn't work 100% is long fun. I wanted something compact, the ridgid RP241 drew my attention because of its size, and the fact that it came with 1/2”- 1 1/4” copper jaws. I also bought the rings that clamp over a pipe and give you a lot more adjustability with your tool and the angle you have.

If your in a tight space the RP241 is light compact and has great power. I suggest the close quarters jaws for tighter places. I ordered my closed quarters jaws c1/v1 1/2 -1-1/4 should have them this week from Atlantic plumbing supply in Newark New Jersey. Thank you RIDGID great job!

Man you can see how many presses you make in a day and in a month. You also can see the location where your press tool was use last.
