Had to add insert & re-lace shoe like a crazy person!

As another reviewer has stated it's too tight on the midsole area feels like it squishing no matter how loose you tie the laces and the laces are too short so I laced the shoes in a weird way that looks dorky but it worked without that wouldn't have been able to keep this shoe. Also had to add a dr scholl's insert (the yellow half insert I think its #480) that's another $50 ontop of the cost of the shoe. The only reason i gave as many stars as i did is bc of the style the look the color options. Yes should have some more color options but i liked the navy coral with the pink/white laces that is so cute! Honestly though I want the old version back!!!

Nothing like the Escalate 2.5

This shoe is a fake Escalamte. Too wide in the heal, too rounded in the toe, extra padding. The previous Escalate is the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. I have two pair. When they wear out what will I do. Get busy and go back to the 2.5. Please.

With the improvements to the upper, the foot is held onto the platform providing a more-snug feel or fit. We utilized the same last and midsole from Escalante 2.5 but with a more refined, streamlined or sock-like upper material that is soft and stretchy that offers an improved fit for your foot. Absolutely hated them

I will never purchase these shoes again. I was extremely disappointed in the feel of these shoes. They were extremely tight on the top no matter how loose I had them. They are not made for wide feet by any means. I had blisters on the top of my feet from these shoes. Don't expect to get a refund quickly either. They take their time. It will be a million years before you see that money again.... Highly disappointed!
