I enjoy getting together with friends %26 family to play board games, and it's been a hobby of mine for 30 years. A few years ago I decided to start painting some of the miniatures that come with many of the board games in my collection. As the number of different color paints I've purchased grew, they became a bit fiddly, and difficult to store in an organized fashion. I've tried a few methods of organizing, and storing them, but really couldn't find a solution that worked for me. I stumbled across this paint storage case, and thought I'd give it a try. I'm glad that I did This portable hobby paint organizer has precut slots that work perfectly for the Vallejo, and Army Painter 15ml %26 17ml paint bottles. Each bottle fits snuggly into the precut, 1" inch holes. I'm actually able to set the case on the table vertically, so the paint bottles are horizontal, and I don't have to worry about them falling out of the case. That also takes up less table space, and it allows me to see the bottles better than if the case is sitting horizontally. Being able to see each of the bottles better also allows me to see the colors that I need right away. That means that I can get more painting done, and less looking for the color i need. Long story short, I'm glad that I purchased this product. It has helped streamline my painting process, and it keeps my hobby paints organized. I like it so much, I just ordered another one, and, as my paint selection grows, I plan on ordering another one.

I previously purchased a large version of this storage/organizer for my Vallejo 15ml, and Army Painter 17ml dropper bottle paints. It is perfect for storing those paints, and keeping them organized. I decided to buy this smaller version for storing the inks, shades, glazes, and washes separately. I think it's worth noting that my Vallejo Game Color 15ml dropper bottles won't fit in this box. They're just a bit taller than the other brands of dropper bottle paints, and the lid won't close properly with the Vallejo paints inside. Regardless of this little issue, I really like this smaller version, and the bigger version. Also, I was able to easily modify the lid so that it would close properly with the Vallejo paints inside. I just drilled holes above one row of paint slots. I made each of my drilled holes with a 5/16" drill bit. The holes are big enough to allow the tips of the Vallejo dropper bottles to fit through, allowing the lid to close properly, while still holding the paints securely inside the box. If that sounds complicated, it's not. It took about 10-12 minutes to carefully mark where I wanted the holes, then drilling pilot holes, followed by a 5/16" drill bit, and then a small amount of clean up. I'm planning on buying one more of these for storing just metallic paints.
