Reduce heat, simmer 5 minutes or until noodles are tender, stirring occasionally. Makes 3 cups soup.Microwave oven:*1. In 2-quart microwave-safe casserole dish, bring 3 cups water to a boil. The way my momma makes it
I don't use this product as intended. I boil a huge pot of water with the seasonings and with chicken. (I use breast tenders but my mother always used a whole chicken to save money.) I pull out the cooked chicken and dice it then return to soak up all the flavor. When time for dinner I bring to a boil and add rice - just throw away the noodles. Boil the rice for 15 minutes so it will be firm. I am known for making beer bread when I prepare this. Tastes like I slaved all day and the whole house smells great!
