Thia is a nice light jacket. It is a button up and is not for very cold weather. The jacket is a nice cotton canvas material. Will be good on a nice chilly night. It is XL but the fit is more like a Large. Only worry is if it shrinks when washes.

Just got this jacket recently. It seems nicely made and fits true to size for now. It has not been washed yet, and is 100% cotton. Although it is of a heavier duck kind of material, I suspect it may shrink a bit over time. I like that the hood attached is a regular soft gray cotton so it will not irritate the cheeks or ears. The camouflage coloring is done very well, and it has gotten praise for its appearance. It is definitely heavy and thick enough to keep out the chill winds from a moderate climate. Be advised that this coat is a button down front, not a zipper front. I don't think it would be enough by itself for the depths of winter without adding some undergarments to keep the cold out. It is not insulated, nor is it waterproof. You may be able to beat the rain by spraying it with a commercially available waterproofing spray. I've used them for years and they seem to do the trick over the short term for keeping that pesky rain at bay. Over the years, I've used and seen lots of different coats and jackets. As far as practicality and usefulness, this one fills the bill. I can recommend it to those who want less expensive cost with consistent quality in their clothing. Additionally, if the outdoorsy look is your style, it definitely will impress those who hang out with you.
