Good upgrade

Got these for my Dad. He needed new ni-cad 18 v batteries for a large kit of de walt 18 volt xrp tools. He wasunsure when I mentioned this option but he really likes them for the light weight and quick charge time. Some people mention it doesnt fit certain tools but they do work on his set.

IT,S GOOD

I,ve had this for a while now and am glad I got it.It is a great idea to continue using your 18V tools with the new 20V lithium batteries.The batteries last longer and seem stronger.I saw many reviews that said it was hard to insert and remove the batteries and adapter and I agree, it was also for me at the start .I sprayed a little WD40 on the 2 conection points and it was still hard to squeeze them enough to slide it in and out.I took a pair of channel locks [BIG ONES] that I have and used them to squeeze the two points and that worked .After time it became easier to squeeze and I can now do it without much effort with just my fingers.All said and done I am so glad DeWALT came up with this system ,so many times I wanted to to get a tool and it wasn,t available in the 18V system so I wouldn,t get it ,now I can .Thanks DeWALT
