BLACK+DECKER HHVI320JRS02 - Vacuum cleaner - handheld - bagless

I recently received the Black and Decker Cordless Lithium Hand Vacuum. I received the product free as part of the Walmart Sparkreviewer program. I haven't owned or used a hand vacuum in quite some time. I currently have a Dyson cordless vacuum but while it works great it is at picking up fine dirt and dust it's not so great at bigger things. I thought that the hand vac might be good for a quick clean up. Like between the couch cushions, in the car or the occasional time my 4 year old grandson spills an entire box of cereal on the floor, lol. When the box arrived it was smaller than I thought it would be, however, the vacuum comes in 2 pieces that easily click together. Packaged with the 2 vacuum pieces are a charging cord and a wall mount with hardware. The vacuum actually came charged but you really need to charge it overnight to get full power. 16 hours is what is recommended. You do have to make sure that the vacuum switch is in the off position in order to get it to charge. To empty, all you have to do is press on the release buttons on the side of the nozzle and it comes right off. Then all you have to do is empty any debris right into the trash barrel. There is also a button to remove the dust bowl from the motor housing where you can take out the cloth filter and clean it. The nozzle has a built in brush accessory that you can flipped down or up and even rotated if necessary for a better angle. The brush is supposed to be good for doing carpeted stairs and such. The opening at the end of the nozzle is big enough to accommodate larger items and has a good amount of power. It tried picking up cereal, M&M's, dried pasta and whatever was in between the couch cushions and it even did a good job on the carpet in the car. It also picked up a quarter with ease. Aside from being attractive it is lightweight and super easy to use. It believe that this little vacuum will come in very handy. I would recommend this hand vacuum to others.
