Very easy to setup -- up and working in kess than 15 minutes! We have eliminated cable and haven't missed anything. With this device, we can watch and record local TV and see it anywhere while travelling -- very important for hubby to follow his favorite NFL team.

You can connect this device to an antenna in an optimal position using a short cable and, so long as your wi-fi is good, you're basically done. Really annoying is that the only way to use it is with Sling, so you either pay $40 a month for that service or it begs you to sign up every time you open the app. That being said, the TV signal is very close to perfect... certainly better than you'd get from running a long coaxial cable with a signal booster -- or worse, connecting an antenna to your home wiring. Plus, you can watch on all of your devices that can run the Sling app (not your computer). The built-in DVR is just OK, and lacks many of the advanced features you'd get on a more expensive device, like TiVo. Still, considering you can use this device free forever once you've bought it, I say it's worth the inconveniences.
