Great smell but not overbearing!! When I pick up the lid of my trash can, I don't smell the stinky foods that are sometimes inside! The smell was so bad at times that my husband started freezing the yucky stuff in plastic shopping bags and only putting in trash can on trash night! He also like to place our groceries from his shopping I the freezer SOOOOO had to check every bag to make sure which was trash and wish was food!! Yeah, not doing that any more!!

Scent is almost not detectable. I have 4, all the same scent. Lasted just 1 month when they claim it should last 2 months. I will look into making my own to refill as this is too expensive.
