This is my 2nd purchase of this cabinet. My first was the 3-drawer version. Storage is always an issue, but more so when living in studio apartment, so when I spied the 4-drawer version on sale, I grabbed one. I'm 65 (F) and have had no issues putting these together. The hardware is adequate, the directions are clear, and the cabinet is small enough for me to assemble alone. The result is a sturdy set of drawers that hold more than I expected. No, the cabinet doesn't equate to anything solid wood or made prior to 1970, but in today's flat-pack world, this cabinet is one of the better ones on the market. I love the pink color, but be advised, it's a shade or two darker than the images in the listing will lead you to expect. Think: Pepto-Bismol, not Ballerina Blush. The gold tone hardware is lightweight, and probably my least favorite part. But like the construction found in vintage wood pieces, the days of solid brass hardware are gone with the wind. For what it's worth, I've had my first cabinet for over a year now, and I grab at least one handle daily, with no discoloration to date. The surface is a laminate. (Which I'd take any day over a vinyl wrap.) I've spilled essential oil on mine a few times, with no staining. The cabinet literally wipes clean with a damp sponge. I read a bunch of reviews prior to buying my first one. Many complained that the assembled cabinet wasn't sturdy. THAT'S A USER-CREATED PROBLEM. If you follow the instructions, take your time, and don't over-tighten anything, the result is a solid build. The cabinet gives a fun pop of color, and I imagine many are sold for children's rooms, so if that's your intent, please install the tilt-proof hardware. If the drawers are over-extended, the cabinet will tip, particularly the top two drawers, because...gravity. THe completed cabinet isn't all that heavy, so there's little-to-no counterweight to stop the piece from tipping over if you don't install the tip-proofing.
