Juanita’s Foods Ready to Serve Menudo with Honeycomb Tripe Soup, 25 oz Can

I guess I enjoy this brand most because it's the closest to the taste of my Mom's homemade menudo when I was growing up. She made sure she skimmed all the fat off the top when it congealed and I do the same with the big chunk of congealed fat off the lid of the can. I add fresh chopped onion and fresh lime juice. My siblings will add fresh slices of serrano or their favorite chiles. Add hot corn tortillas rolled up tortillas in between bites of tender menudo in it's perfectly spiced broth and it spells DELICIOUS!

Grew up eating menudo on a weekly basis. Although this product is not exactly homemade, it does satisfy my urge for wanting a plate of menudo. My only problem with it, is the fact that it contains way too much salt, and could use some additional traditional seasoning.
