DAP Alex Plus 10.1 oz White All Purpose Acrylic Latex Caulk Plus Silicone

DAP Silicone Latex Caulk worked great to seal up the cracks. My fiance said we needed silicone and latex to keep it from cracking and drying out eventually and this did the trick. Holes are still sealed up, no drying and cracking, and you cant beat the price. Definitely recommend!

While this isn't the most durable brand, it's not bad at all, especially for the price! My house is 100 years old, so I've gone through tube after tube of this stuff just to try to get everything sealed up before the snow flies. It gets used on the frames around my windows, doors, any random cracks I come across (and there are plenty lol), and I've even used it for random projects like sealing up cracks in the chicken coop, sealing the seams around the tub, toilet and where the kitchen and bathroom counters meet the wall. Cleaning up is easy-peasy, and it's easier to work with than the pure silicone stuff, which can be more important than one might realize in a very busy country household when one never knows when one has to drop everything and deal with critter drama or otherwise haha! It does better if it's painted over once it's dry, but I've gotten easily 5 years per application using this brand.
