For me, it's been a journey as I've gotten older…especially with my taste buds. I've fallen in love with ginger ale, and it stays in my rotation. I prefer it over traditional sodas. I probably wouldn't have chosen ginger ale when I was younger, but now it's one of my favorites.

Can be used as a "feel better" refreshment (IYKYK)
If you are a part of a certain group of humans then you already know this is considered as medicine, if you know you know.. I love that it has natural flavors. I always keep a bottle of ginger ale around it's just good to drink. I love the taste and it is a great refreshment.

When I was young and I had any kind of sickness my Aunt Mae would give me chicken soup, saltines and ginger ale soda.. Also every week she gave me Milk of Magnesia. She was my great aunt. But now if you read the back none of the ginger ale has any ginger in it. It has ginger flavor. So the choice is ginger beer which is cool but expensive and this brand. This is the only brand I have seen that still has actual ginger extract in it. The difference in spiciness is apparent compared to others.
