My stove is gas so I just open a can of the chunky soups or chili and let it brew slowly while I do other prep. Any body can grab a Teflon pan or revereware but when the product is ready I just eat out of the bowl and it stays hot from start to finish, ah the beauty of cast iron!!!

Get a set yourself
We were served soup in these at a restaurant in Charleston, South Carolina. Had to get some ourself since they did such a good job of retaining the heat. No more cold soup
