Great flavor

I have never used a slow cooker until now. I love pulled pork. I work long days and get home late. I decided to use a slow cooker to make dinner, while I was away. I put a pork roast in and seasoned with a packet of McCormicks BBQ pulled pork. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The flavor of the BBQ was just right, not too sweet and not too spicy. Would highly recommend for pulled pork lovers who like easy cooking with excellent flavor.

Perfect for pulled pork

I tried the McCormick Slow Cooker BBQ Pulled Pork Seasoning Mix and it turned out great. It was super easy, I just added the mix and some ketchup to pork in the slow cooker and let it cook all day. The meat came out really tender and full of that sweet, tangy BBQ flavor. It's definitely on the sweeter side, but we liked it.

Slow Cooker Goodness

I received this product for free in exchange for an honest review. I have never been one to use pre-made seasoning packets when cooking, but I made sure to follow the simple directions on the back of the packet (made no additions, substitutions, etc.) to ensure my review was pure. What I loved about this was that it used very few ingredients and was very fast to put together. Major bonus points for when you're on the go. My husband hasn't been one to really eat pork, but he ended up going for seconds and even ate leftovers the following day. The taste was almost sweet - it wasn't overpowering. The sauce was thin, but coated the meat evenly, leaving the flavor to be absorbed throughout. It paired well with classic coleslaw - whether on the sandwich or as a side. Honestly, I didn't think it needed any substitutions. It was great the way it was and I would definitely make it again!
