I have two 24" bars installed already. I needed something shorter and this 9" fit right in with the others. The mounting is easy and concealed, so it has a finished look. The only complaint I have is it is not available in 16" length. This would be perfect to go from stud to stud. I will have to keep looking.

When my new shower was professionally installed, this Moen designer hand grip was installed at the entrance for safety. It looked so handsome and it was so comfortable to grip that I now reach for it automatically. I like that it was installed securely with screws, and that the screws are hidden. The inner part if the handle tapers and is lined with a soft rubber, which gives a little when I grasp it. My hands are strong, but even if they weren't, this grip would work great. Recently, I replaced my patio doors with new vinyl doors. To correct an uneven floor and make them level, the new doors ended up an inch higher at the floor, so I have to step up and over the threshold. I immediately remembered how well this handgrip worked in my shower for this problem. So I asked my window installer to place one handgrip on the inside wood frame and another on the outside wood frame of each sliding door. They work great, and they match my white vinyl doors as if designed to be part of their installation.
