For the money, this reel is one of the best on the market. Smooth, great gears, and a drag system that will wear out a fish, especially a big spotted bass. I also took one to Orange Beach, Al and caught some really big Red Fish and what a great job the reel did. I have more expensive reels, but none more qualified to do the job for the money. I would buy them all over again as I have.
