I noticed a lot of complaints on the reviews about the latch not swinging both ways (thereafter purchasing ) but all I simply did was take off the side tabs and just like that, it swings. Very easy assembly and allows a versatile assembly for picky kitties. The only complaint is that the drawer does not go flush to the back allowing litter to spill out of the bottom. Also a bit flimsy and could use a handle on top. Otherwise well made, easy to assemble and clean.

i eould give it five stars except the front door only swings one way. the cat has to go out the top door. I left the doors off until he got used to it but he never used the top door. i was worried putting the front door on he wpuld feel trapped and not go in again. the top door as an option is good but he should be able to go out yhe front door to. so this is a significant design flaw. the drawer works great but my cat really paws the litter strongly and the lotter gets tossed up and comes out some how. but not a huge amount.
