Loud!!! Ha ha, but it's a lot of fun and so easy for young hands to operate. Warning: I purchased it because my 3 year old loves to sing and imagined her cute little voice playing peacefully through the speaker...not what I got ha ha...her and her brother love to make wild animal noises and other funny sounds. Even set at low volume it's still loud. No joke, their noises made coyotes come to the property. But it's fun for them and the unicorn design is cute.
