Better router, better gaming. ROG Strix

I have never owned an asus router and had been eyeing the budget friendly nighthawks lately. I bought this one to replace a cheap WiFi 6 router I got because it didn't have many features and didn't offer much in the control panel. When this router showed up, I connected it immediately and started the setup process, which somehow pulled the previous routers SSID and passwords. Got everything connected and spent the next few days playing with the setttings in the control app. Had to go to the web portal to enable IPv6, though. I got this to lower my ping and get better coverage and speed. It has done both of those very well and he price was worth it.

A New Asus Addition to my Asus Family

Impressive router in respect to ease of setup and operation in addition to being stylish. I am a subscriber to a wireless internet provider, so I am using the router as a repeater. The setup as a repeater was impossible at first as I had difficulty locating the proper web page on my own. A quick chat with Technical Assistance rectified this and the setup became a breeze. Thank you for such a quick and accurate Technical Assistance department and the knowledge the representatives possess. The router has increased my WiFi range tremendously, which is the reason I purchased it. My signal range is now almost twice prior to installing it. I have nothing but praise for the router itself and the technical assistance I received. I currently own three (3) Asus computers, beginning with the first purchased in 2005 that continues to function as well as it did in 2005. This router is a welcome addition to my Asus family.

Affordable router for the price

Lots of features very nice router works well made in 2021newer than my eero so it was an upgrade. Love the rgb lighting the only difference between the AX300 and 5400 is internet speeds. I went with the AX300 because it said up to 2.5gb vs 4gb of internet wifi speed. And the highest my provider offers is 1Gb. Otherwise great router
