Better router, better gaming. ROG Strix

I have never owned an asus router and had been eyeing the budget friendly nighthawks lately. I bought this one to replace a cheap WiFi 6 router I got because it didn't have many features and didn't offer much in the control panel. When this router showed up, I connected it immediately and started the setup process, which somehow pulled the previous routers SSID and passwords. Got everything connected and spent the next few days playing with the setttings in the control app. Had to go to the web portal to enable IPv6, though. I got this to lower my ping and get better coverage and speed. It has done both of those very well and he price was worth it.

Setup was easy. Made me able to use my printer again regardless which bandwidth anything was on. I bought this being older tech but better parts instead of new tech cheaper parts. Didn't want to spend the money the newer tech with better parts would have cost.

before i bought this router i got the worst wifi and i thought it was because of my internet provider. boy was i wrong i did speed test in every room of my house. I have a ranch style house 3 bedroom not very big so after the test i was getting average 50 mbps very slow.after hooking the ROG STRIX GS-AX3000 i went to average 275.00 Mbps major improvement. my streaming buffering days have ended. Thank you ASUS after that i also hooked 2 Blue Cave 2600 in aimesh with the ROG STRIX GS-AX3000 and they work great paired together. Again thank you ASUS you have never let me down yet
