Sturdy, large beach umbrella

This is a good-looking, big, sturdy and well-designed beach umbrella. As it screws into the ground, it is very stable and safe. And yet it has a built-in vent at the top so the wind doesn't catch it and send it flying. It folds up conveniently and is not too heavy to carry. I recommend it highly. I expect to get many good years out of it.

Strongly designed and nicely sized!

I really liked the durable material for the fabric of the carrying bag and umbrella. It is inner lined with UV layer for a bit of insulation. We used it at peak hour and we were shaded very well! Setup was neat because it brings an accessory to hand drill into the sand and the main structure of the umbrella is thicker than those typical beach umbrellas you buy for like $20. Note, those are usually 6-7 ft in diameter, whereas this one is 8 ft. It has a chain locking mechanism to keep it in place. The color design was vibrant and fun. Would make a very nice gift for sure.
