Although these lights are smaller than I expected, I chose the white light option, and they're quite bright , which I enjoy. I put them on the stairs and in various rooms that I might walk through in the evening hours. Getting 3 of them made this a great value. My only complaint is that they will not stand perfectly straight unless you tilt them forward just a touch. You can also use the mounting brackets on the back if you prefer.

Tiny mishaps, bright lights

My dad uses a wheelchair so I got these to put in his hall to light the area when he goes to bed. I'm not sure why, but I couldn't get the battery in one of them. I put the others in, but that one was a big struggle. I finally had to pound it in. When I put them back in the box to take to my dad's, the motion turned them on. Even with light on them they wouldn't go off. I finally got them off and tucked in the box, but the next day they were on when I took them out for the install. I put them at the beginning and end of the hallway, but we had to turn off EVERY light to test them out. Ultimately, they are up and working well and are extremely bright. I have a different brand in my staircase and they are a bit more subtle.
