Makes me sad

Such a bummer. I have run in the escalantes for years. Thousands and thousands of miles with no injuries. The support in these shifts my foot and gait and now am having arch issues. The racer is still a fav and I hope they don't mess that up as well.

Not Black

The "black" is more like a dark navy/grey. This is my 4th pair of Escalantes and I always choose black but the color and fit of these 3.0's is nothing like previous models. Pic: Right foot is my old 2.5, Left is this new 3.0. Both women's size 8, Escalante, in "Black". My pants are also black so you can tell it's not a lighting thing.

Absolutely hated them

I will never purchase these shoes again. I was extremely disappointed in the feel of these shoes. They were extremely tight on the top no matter how loose I had them. They are not made for wide feet by any means. I had blisters on the top of my feet from these shoes. Don't expect to get a refund quickly either. They take their time. It will be a million years before you see that money again.... Highly disappointed!
