A & L Furniture Yellow Pine Classic Porch Rocker

We received our 4 rockers today and I was so excited to get them assembled and place them on our front porch. The first one was missing two of the fittings needed to secure the bolts. Luckily, my husband had some 1/4" nuts that worked with the bolts so we were able to assemble it anyway. Each of the other rockers had at least one missing fitting and the last one was cut so poorly that my husband actually had to use a saw to shave the wood down enough so that one of the rocker pieces would even fit. In the end, we were able to assemble all 4 and they are on the porch. The tractor red color is fantastic and is exactly the look I was going for....but I'd bet Sam Walton is rolling in his grave over the substandard workmanship being offered by Walmart in these rockers. If you have the patience and the extra parts to replace what's missing, they do look nice in the end. If not, I'd have to pass.

Although my dealings with customer service about shipping details was very positive, when I received the chairs which had to be assembled the quality and workmanship was very sub standard. Two of the arm supports were ripped out at the screws and I had to modify parts to fit correctly. I have assembled plenty of furniture before and being an automotive mechanic by trade gives me the background to make this determination.
