The Boeing 757 is a mid-sized, twin-engine airliner designed for operations on short and medium distance routes, replacing the popular three engine Boeing 727. Maximum passenger seating capacity was 199-Delta configured its aircraft for 189 seats in three-class seating. Records show that Delta operated 111 B757-200s.
