Why velcro at tie rather than tie???

Reasonable weight and design for the price. HOWEVER, in what world do you use a velcro closure on the back of the apron??? For God's sake, it would be easier just to leave it as a tie like - oh, I don't know - a NORMAL APRON!! Ugh. Now I've got to add a little velcro extension at the back of the waste (under the tied bow) to make this fit properly. SMH. So dumb.
