Using Grout Release prior to the grouting process will make cleanup of grout haze easier after application and will protect your surface from grout haze or stains. Grout Releases clear formula provides resistance against cement, epoxy, urethane and new age grouts from “sticking” to the surface and potentially staining the surface. Instructions

Before Grouting: Apply Grout Release to the surface prior to grouting. This step will allow quick and easy cleanup after grouting. Grout can stain many surfaces if this procedure is not used prior to the grouting process. Apply Grout Release using a Mira Brush, Micro Fiber or a clean towel. Apply enough to wet the surface. (See coverage charts) Be careful not to saturate the open grout joints. Allow Grout Release to stand for approximately 3 - 5 minutes for maximum penetration. All excess must be removed at this time by buffing surface with a clean dry towel or Micro-Fiber cloth. This is very important on polished, glazed and porcelain surfaces. Allow Grout Release to cure for 6 - 12 hours before continuing with the grouting procedure.
