Even though these do look a bit bulkier and more utilitarian than regular tennis shoes, they look less like work shoes and are well designed and even though having an appearance of be heavy, they are quite light. My husband put these on and right away mentioned that they didn’t put pressure on any part of his foot. No noticeable pressure points. There was literally no break in time. They were comfortable right from the start, with the foam insert that offers ample support to the arch and is removable. The outer material is rubber for easy clean and keeping water out and the heel is firm, making it easy to slip the shoe on without it collapsing into the shoe. Extra lace holes are provided at the top so that the shoe will stay in place without rubbing on the heel so as not to cause blisters or soreness. We did not have a chance to use them on slick industrial surfaces and our flooring is slip resistant but they held well when worn outside on the icy sidewalks and driveway.

I had previously bought these shoes and they were great but I needed more after months of wear and tear. The price is $12 more expensive than the first time I bought them though, so that part wasn't great
