Purchased this for our camper. This mattress was on the firmer side which I like, but still had a tiny bit of give. Slept wonderfully. If you like a soft -medium mattress this one isn't for you. It is well made and easy to set up! Very happy with purchase.

Let it “inflate” for a day or two

The mattress can vacuum sealed. No weird smell upon open. It does need time to “inflate” to get to the correct size and firmness. We slept on it 2-3 hours after opening and worried we'd have to get a topper because of how firm it was. The next night was better and by the third night, it's now my favorite mattress. Firm enough to give support but soft enough to not be uncomfortable.
