The Pioneer Woman Floral Canvas Storage Basket, Multicolor, Set of 2

I've tried numerous times to find cute baskets for my built-in shelves and these work perfectly. I initially ordered three sets (2 per set) and liked them so much that I've ordered an additional four sets. They're made of a heavy and stiff twill fabric on the exterior and a lighter weight twill lining. These are the perfect size to hold my packages of hosiery, I'm using one for wallets and very purses, underwire and molded cup bras, multiple bottles of supplements.

I'm planning to install cube storage in my craft room later this spring, and so was very interested in trying bins which might fit in those cubes, such as this Pioneer Woman-branded bin. This blue floral bin is made of what appears to be cotton canvas, with the blue floral print on the outside, and a cream-colored fabric with printed "quilting lines" on the inside. The rim seems to contain a stout metal wire inside the canvas, going all the way around the top edge, and providing structure to the bin. Finally, there are two faux-leather handles attached at opposite ends of the bin, enabling easy transport of the bin. Now, will this fit inside cube storage? The dimensions are 6"H x 10"W x 14"L, so it will probably fit in either a 10" or 12" cube storage unit, but the last couple of inches may stick out, so you may want to keep this in the bottom row of cubes, or at least keep fairly light things inside which won't cause the bin to tip out of the cube. Alternatively, this would work just fine on an open shelf of a bookcase. In a craft room situation, this would be great for corralling yarn for a project (I have 9 x 100g skeins of yarn in my bin right now), grouping a collection of patterns or pattern books, or whatever implements or notions one might need all in one place. I could also see using this in a home office setting, perhaps to corral tax documents, printouts of tax forms, and a calculator. I could even see home cooks using this to keep together a group of less-frequently-used cookbooks which must be stored outside the kitchen until needed. (The care instructions say that this can be wiped clean with a dry cloth, but I would still avoid keeping it around all of the wet/greasy/food-staining stuff in a kitchen for more than an hour or two.) If you like the Pioneer Woman collection, and this size bin works for where you'd want to keep it, try this. Highly recommended!
