After reading reviews and searching for an ice machine that does what the description says it does, I am very happy with my choice. I had a very pricey ice machine and it was always broken. All I wanted was about 60-70 pounds of ice a day and a machine that was portable. With the 5 gal intake option I can take this machine anywhere. Not only that but it is so easy to use. And if that isn't enough, the ice come out great! These cubes are awesome. After using it through 10gal of water I learned how to increase the densityof the ice. It's a matter of increasing the ice time. Now I have storable ice that won't melt quickly. For my drinks I use a less dense ice cube as it is a better drink temperature changer. Since I'm using a 5 gal container of purified water It hasn't shown a spek of residual grime or minerals. Just a great working ice machine that is very easy on the eyes with its blue glowing light bulb. I feel like it is very much worth every penny. In this bracket of machines that is in a budget range that can possibly produce a very bad machine but hide the truth with bells and whistles, I am glad I was able to trust this machine. I counted on this ice machine up holding its claims and it has surpassed my expectations.

All the settings are doing its job The most important thing is to always be sure to rinse with hot water and a touch of vinegar minimum monthly depending how much you use it, or your get scaling and it will start working bad. So wipe it out good. All the time. So this gets 3 thumbs up from

i dont have an ic make in ky fridge at my apartment so rhis is amazing. The storage bin is really only for the ice making process. Cannot keep ice in there long, as it is not refrigerated. I suggest getting some bags and packaging ice to store in freezer. If you are having a gathering and going through a lot of ice, it should be ok to keep in unit. Great value.
