Very dissatisfied

I bought this toy for my son as a gift, and immediately once it was charged, the snake was moving extremely slowly. It would have moments of moving at a decent speed for about a few seconds, and then it would be crawling. We charged and charged multiple times but this speech just seemed to diminish. And then the different portions of the snake try to breaking off very easily. We had to throw the trail away after a week.
