It has some beach house charm and style to it and it is easy to wash and keep clean. I also like that there aren't too many excess pillows in the set. SOmething a boy's room definitely doesn't need.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this quilt set to freshen the appearance of my son's room. It is a beautiful, well-crafted set. The quilt lightweight and the full/queen size fits his full-size bed perfectly with enough length on all sides to fully cover his thick mattress. The shams also fit well with ample room for regular sized pillows. He was pleasantly surprised how this set changed the appearance of his room but was more concerned of the warmth it would provide; it did not disappoint! He said that it was warmer than his previous comforter and the light fabric was comfortable and did not overheat him. It should be noted that the only front and back of this quilt are 100% cotton; the filling materials are 90% cotton, 7% rayon and 3% other fibers. It is machine washable yet since I have not yet laundered it, I cannot comment its durability. In my opinion, this soft, rustic set can be used year-round, with a blanket, and adds character to the bedroom; the stripes are blue-grey in color.
