Though instructions recommend 2 people, only had myself. But, we did it. Assembly was as expected, simple but straight forward. Instructions again, picture with no words. I like someone to talk to me when giving instructs. Still, product is solid and sturdy and looks very nice. Overall, I am very pleased and hope it lasts for decades as the cheap one I replaced did.
