Taste Great, Easy to Grow

I have kept a huge garden for 25 years, but his was my first try growing and eating pumpkins. Maybe it was just the year or good luck, but I have rarely been so pleasantly surprised by the ease and taste of growing pumpkins. I baked, then pureed the pumpkin, then added a little brown sugar and cinnamon. Wow! Everyone loved it. They take a lot of space so, in the future, I'll create a separate, larger pumpkin patch so I can share the wealth. From four seeds, I'll harvest about 50 pounds of delicious, highly nutritious puree. My family has always liked pumpkin pie, now we'll be trying other recipes.
