Do not recommend for those with sensitive skin or those who wish for a truly painless hair removal device. If that's what you're looking for this is not it. This is not as advertised in the sense that it causes mild discomfort and pain. It causes the skin to redden, irritate, and causes small abrasions in the skin that have opened and begun to bleed slightly. This product causes a reaction very similarly to minour friction burns (see also: rug burn) and this is mostly due to the texture of the instrument itself. It is rough, very similar to that of sandpaper, for exfoliating purposes, but with that, it also rubs the skin raw if you keep at it for more than a minute or so. However if you don't keep at it for more than a minute or so, it doesn't properly remove the hair. It's a lose-lose situation no matter how you spin it. This product is advertised as painless, but yet it is not. This product is advertised as quick and easy, quick no, easy yes.
