DAP Silicone Max 10.1 oz White Kitchen and Bath Sealant

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Silicone can be a little tricky to use, and it requires some steps people often skip. This product seemed to be a little easier to use than others I have used in the past. The consistency was very smooth, and almost looked too thin but it went on very easily, and was not an issue to tool smooth. It also did not run or drip, so I wouldn't say now that it was too thin at all. The important parts to remember about silicone is that it does not just "wipe off" with a rag, so if you over apply it and it spreads too far, it takes longer to clean up. Using masking tape I think is an absolutely necessary step for a professional result. That and using a wet tool to smooth it (or finger, but wet!). These tips and faqs are readily available on the product website too, which is nice to review. All silicones have a strong vinegar like odor when applying, this product also, and it can't be avoided. The odor seemed to clear quickly as it cured. Overall a great product. I expect it to last and perform well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this to reseal my tub! It was easy to use with the caulk gun and came out smoothly. Cured in 24 hours and results were great. So far no leakage anywhere, keeping water inside the tub. These tubes last me quite a while so I won't need to be replacing it unless it dries up.
