The speaker is exactly what I was looking for at the price I was willing to pay and it arrived very quickly. I disregarded many of the reviews that said the speaker focused on bass. It does have very punchy bass, if the input (your music player) is set to big bass. Amazon music has a built in graphic equalizer if you look hard enough. Use a good equalizer and you'll be very pleased with the Monster Blaster 3.0. This speaker sends music traveling a very good distance if you're looking to entertain your neighbors. The speaker is as heavy as advertised at 18 pounds. I can in fact hold it over my head with one arm though it will start to weigh on you after several minutes. Lower the speaker to a more comfortable lever when this happens. So far so good. I really like this speaker and my neighbors are really starting to like the music set list that I'm broadcasting.
