Thank you Black+Decker's 4-in-1 coffeemaker is a great little 5 cup (5 oz cup) coffee maker that serves a purpose between those 10-14 cup automatic drip coffeemakers and those single serve brew devices (think k cup). By only brewing a fraction of a full sized pot – you waste less money on expensive coffee bean grounds. The base here on this unit will accommodate either the provided glass 5 cup carafe, a travel mug, or any sized coffee mug! The grounds basket removes to be able to brew directly into your coffee cup. Carafe pours easily and drip free. The ideal function here of the Black+Decker's 4-in-1 coffeemaker is to get in the middle of brewing a full pot yet more than a single serve brewer provides. Permanent grounds filter is provided – and easily washes/rinses out for use – so you will never run out of paper filters. Also great for single adults that don't need a full pot of coffee – but more than those single use expensive disposable pods that are bad for the environment. 2 year limited warranty. 650 watts. This little coffee maker works just as it says, nothing fancy. You can make a single cup, a travel tumbler or a 5 cup carafe of coffee, which is perfect for filling an enormous travel mug, or to fill about two regular mugs. It is a pretty simple coffee maker. It cannot be programmed, it has a plain old on off button (which lights up so you can easily see whether or not you left it on), it does not have a heat plate, but it does come with it's own filter and best of all, takes up less space on the counter than my pod coffeemaker. It also has an adjustable stand so your coffee won't splatter all over the counter like it does with a pod coffee maker. I find it easier and, of course, it's much cheaper to make my cup of coffee in this little thing. I was gifted a pod coffee maker a while back and finally broke down and bought k cups, which to me have seemed very wasteful, so I am very happy with this one and will continue using it instead.
