Good for a pony?

I bought this about a year ago and actually never got to use it because it didn't fit ANY of my horses, Like not even a little bit. I have a 14hh appy and a 15.2hh QH. Couldn't even sorta get the girth around the appy. The material is very soft though, and I could see it being very comfortable for both horse and rider. Mice like it too, so store it well! Would fit a pony better, I think!

Super comfy!

This feels like a saddle it's so thick and plush! Very comfortable for both horse and rider! My only complaint is the cinch that comes with it isn't very long. My horse is usually a 28” Dressage girth and I can barely get this fastened on the last holes. But I just bought a longer western cinch and just use that instead!

Nice bareback pad!

I bought this bareback pad to use for light rides and for lunging with a neck stretcher. It works great for these purposes...but not sure about jumping or other strenuous rides because the pad does slip around a bit due to the texture of the fleece. The girth was a perfect size for my 14hh Appaloosa mare (she usually wears a 48 inch English girth). After reading other reviews, I was sure I would need to buy a western cinch to use with it too, but that wasn't the case - it went up about half way on both sides. Overall pretty happy with it!
