I read other reviews before buying this battery and was a bit concerned. But the battery was cheap, so I figured I'd take a chance. Perhaps the quality varies greatly from one battery to the next? The battery I received works perfectly. It was easy to install in my LG Stylo phone (about 8 years old), and it charged to 100% overnight. It seems to hold a charge pretty well - it went from 100% charged to 93% charged overnight when not plugged into the charger and not in use. It doesn't hold a charge as well as my new phone does, but for the price it seems to function pretty well. I'm using the old LG phone as a tablet at home, so I can charge it easily whenever I want. If I needed it while out and about, I'd bring a small battery backup to plug into it. I'm glad I made this purchase. It has extended the usability of my old phone (for use as a tablet) for what I'm guessing will be a few years. I guess buying this battery, based on the reviews I"ve read here, is a bit of a crapshoot. I'm leaving this review to let potential buyers know that sometimes a buyer gets lucky ... I did!

My phone battery would go from 100% charge to shutting down in about an hour or so. I had purchased a battery from another source (ebay). The ebay source advertised the battery as OEM. Unfortunately my phone would shut off within 2 minutes with the (ebay) battery. I waited a while before attempting to buy another as I assumed that it was my phone which was defective and causing the battery to quickly discharge. When I purchased another battery from Walmart I was rather pessimistic that it would resolve my issue. But once I received the battery from Walmart and installed it in my cell phone my phone now can go for hours on end without requiring a single charge. Thank you Walmart for TRULY providing an OEM battery for my android phone.
