My story

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used Kitchen Aid Stand mixer since I was 6 years old to bake chocolate chip cookies as my first attempt at baking, followed by being the oldest of 13 children who became my mom right hand in the farm kitchen this mix master has withstood the test of time. Married at the age of 21, Kitchen Aid was a wedding gift from my In-Laws and has been instrumental in food preparation for my husband and 10 children. Now, at the age of 86 I could not afford to purchase a new Kitchen=Aid and was extremely pleased to find in my web-searching the availability of a refurbished model. Living independently, in a facility, I now bake on Tuesdays for group coffee gatherings honoring my German mom and her "old Country" recipes.

Just like new

I don't know why I've waited so long to buy a KitchenAid Mixer. My arthritis has kicked in and I just can't do it by hand anymore. What a joy this is! Beautiful and strong.

Got It!

The item was delivered as originally stated. The box was in excellent condition, and the unit was all but brand new i n appearabxe. The only place I saw even a small flaw was in the base ring where the bowl fit. It did appear to have been used. Finally had a chance to use last evening and it was great. I've had new KA before, but I'd sure consider refurbished again.
